One of the trends of the Jewish nationalist movement, whose main aim was the establishment of Jewish autonomy in a territory where Jewish settlers would form an ethnic majority and engage in "productive" work, principally agriculture. In contrast to Zionism, Territorialism did not have the aim of founding an independent Jewish state in Erets-Israel.
